At the end of each season the BSDB present trophies to their nominated Dundee FC Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year at the DSA Annual Player of the Year Dinner.

In previous years Members have submitted their nominations prior to the event with their decision possibly influenced a little by the more recent form of players. For 2008/09 the BSDB have decided to take into account performance over the season and so BSDB Members will have an opportunity to vote for their “Man of the Match” following each First Team game played.

The names of the players accruing the most match awards in each category throughout the season will be those to receive an award at the DSA Annual Dinner. A “Leader Board” will be published on the BSDB Website at the end of each month.
